What is the software ??
- A computer is made up of software and hardware. Hardware is the body of a computer while software cannot be considered as the soul of a computer without which a computer cannot perform any task.
- These components include data instructions and documentation about the software, a set of these instructions is called a computer programmer.
Types of software
There are two main types of software: system software and application software
1. System software
- The system manages the software hardware and acts as a bridge between the computer hardware and the business application software. The system does the software.
Example of system software: operating system
- Some translator programs are written in a programming language and simultaneously translate into another language of the computer. This type of program is called a compiler.
- Some translator programs convert one line after another into navigation and produce immediate results for its implementation. This program is called an interpreter.
2. Application software
- Computers are also used for business appropriations such as printing reports from archived data, preparing bills, making payroll, noting attendance, printing student marks, etc. This type of special coincidence requires special software to be created, this program is called application software.
- Application software is a set of computer instructions that allows the user to perform a specific task as needed, which may be for a general-purpose, such as the need for each business or the company's payroll according to the structure determined by the company.
